The shooting continued. We were  trying to get as much from the fading light… For the spiel for this show’s segment, Solenn changed into a mermaid outfit.  This was the underwater shoot, where the celebrity challengers would pose underwater in their mermaid outfits.

This is the second of my 3 part fashbook entries.  Shot at Subic Grand Seas Resort.  Prior to this shoot, I was a bit antsy over the impending under water shoot.  But when I saw the sea, the magnificent view, I relaxed.  For this set, I was assigned to shoot Vaness del Moral.

I was invited by GMA's Fashbook to cover one of their episodes.  The episode's topic was search for Fashbook's Miss Photogenic.  We were brought to Subic for the shoot. The episode was divided into 3 parts  - tree top drop, shooting with sea creatures, and under water glam shoot. This entry is a three part series.


For the first challenge... I was at the foot of the tree top drop, assigned to shoot the 3 celebrity challengers' reaction/pose after the drop, including the show's host, Solenn Heussaff.

diana was referred to me by my friend glenn, who jokingly calls me his "ex", as he used to shoot with me in my earlier events.  i was ecstatic to find that this is going to be a beach wedding - my first!  i used to wish for a beach wedding in boracay. it may not have the fine, powdery white sand of boracay, but laiya has its own charm and the view was breathtaking. 


brian & diana's wedding was intimate, laid back, simple, nothing fancy, with a few close friends and family who came all the way from manila to celebrate their union.

leine is a close friend and a pinay shutter sister. so it only follows when she tied the knot with her "dear ko" papa myk, she didn't get not just two wedding photographers (me & marrah), but the whole pinay shutter sisterhood (or what we call ourselves as 'alembongs') as well.
